Accessing Gemini with Data Protection

To use Gemini with data protection, you must be logged in through your UCD Connect Google account.

When accessed this way:

  • Your chats on Gemini are not reviewed by human moderators.

  • Prompts and responses are not used to train generative AI models.

  • Gemini operates under UCD’s Google Workspace for Education Terms of Service, which includes enhanced privacy protections for staff and students.

Important: Google states that to use Gemini Apps with a work or school account, you must be 18 or over.

If you have already read Get Started With ChatGPT, then you will understand how to use the Gemini interface.
